National Sunglasses Day - Online Ts and Cs

  1. The Promoter: Vision Operations Pty Ltd., trading as Vision Works Optometrists.
  2. Registered Office: LEOGEM BUSINESS PARK UNIT 7, 44 RICHARDS DRIVE, HALFWAY HOUSE, MIDRAND, 1685
  3. The competition prizes: One (1) summer hamper to the value of R1 500.00 inclusive for a total of three (3) prizes.
  4. The competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years and over except employees of Vision Operations Pty Ltd, Vision Works Optometrists, their agents or those persons judging the competition, representatives, close relatives of these persons and anyone otherwise connected in any way with the Promoter.
  5. This competition requires that you purchase any sunglass product from https://www.vision-works.co.za/shop-online/ within the 50% off range of selected sunglasses.
  1. By entering this competition, an entrant thereby consents to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement as stated herein.
  2. The competition will be run on the Vision Works website entry page: https://www.vision-works.co.za/competition-entry-page/ which will also detail the entry mechanic for the competition.
  3. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will lead to that person being disqualified.
  4. Closing date for entries will be 17h00 on 30, September 2022.

After this date no further entries to the competition will be considered.

  1. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason, or received after the competition deadline.
  • The three (3) prize winners will be announced on the Vision Works Facebook and Instagram pages on the 7th October 2022.
  • Once a participant has entered the competition as above and been verified as having made an in-store purchase through the upload of their valid till slip, their entry will be considered valid.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to revoke, cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions for whatever reason, at any time without notice in the event of inter alia, a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control.

Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

  1. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  2. The prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are non-transferable. The prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another item of equivalent or greater value without giving notice.
  3. Winners will be chosen at random, from all entries received and verified by the Promoter and/or its agents.
  4. The winners will be notified by email and/or DM on Facebook within 1 day of the closing date. If a prize winner cannot be contacted or does not claim his/her prize within 24 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and choose a replacement prize winner at random.
  5. The Promoter will notify each prize winner when and where the prize can be collected or will be delivered (at the Promoter’s sole discretion).
  6. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
  8. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image/likeness in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
