Check out our guide to the different lens types available
SINGLE VISION LENSES
Single Vision lenses are the simplest kind of lens. They have a single dioptric power across the entire lens – in other words, they’re the same strength from top to bottom. Typically, they’re used for reading glasses or correcting vision at one specific distance.
DISTANCE LENSES
Used for correcting near – or farsightedness. Just like Single Vision Lenses, they only offer one field of vision. They can be worn as general use glasses by people that have a single, specific vision issue (including astigmatism).
COMPUTER LENSES
These are designed to optimise your experience of using screens, and are usually half the strength of reading glasses. They’re intended to offer comfortable, accurate vision for the entire working day.
MULTIFOCAL LENSES
As their name suggests, multifocal lenses have more than one point of vision, making them more flexible and versatile. They allow one pair of glasses to be used for multiple tasks throughout the day, by correcting vision at multiple distances.
VISION WORKS SMART LENSES
Our range of Smart Lenses are engineered for maximum frame flexibility (the perfect match with your preferred frames) and offer smart digital precision. Choose the lens which best fits your lifestyle.
